Building / Property / Facility Manager

About the role

TF Cameron Court Ltd is looking for a Building / Property / Facility Manager based in Lagos, Marina. The role covers the overall daily operation of the facility, coordinating technical and support staff and overseeing maintenance, preventive maintenance and client-facing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily walk-around inspections to spot maintenance, aesthetic or environmental issues.
• Coordinate technical activities and vendor / contractor work on assigned sites, and develop work schedules and technical rota / shift systems.
• Process work orders daily, assign resources and make requisitions to close them out.
• Register, monitor and file servicing schedules, work orders, material usage, job completion certificates and invoices.
• Monitor PPM and raise preventive maintenance requests at least 2 weeks before they are due; run weekly inventory reports of maintenance consumables, monthly stock audits and purchase orders.
• Run post-departure inspections with exiting tenants and coordinate renovation of vacant units.
• Prepare weekly facilities reports on maintenance activity and schedule daily toolbox talks.
• Monitor and initiate payment of public bills (electricity, water, parking, waste management).
• Manage petty cash expenses and reconciliation, and directly engage with clients.

Required profile

• HND in facility management, engineering, business administration or a related field; MSc is an added advantage.
• 3-4 years of proven experience managing a facilities team, preferably in a large service organisation.
• NYSC certificate.
• Knowledge of building contracts; a relevant professional qualification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Use of PowerPoint and database software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Customer service, relationship building and budget control for own cost centres.
