About the role
The company is seeking a Bridge Construction Engineer / Resident Engineer to lead bridge projects in Port Harcourt and the surrounding Marina area. This senior‑level position involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and delivering regular progress updates.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all phases of bridge construction, from mobilization to handover.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards throughout the project.
- Coordinate site activities, liaising with contractors, consultants and local authorities.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to senior management.
Required profile
- B.Eng in Civil Engineering (M.Eng preferred).
- Registration with COREN is mandatory.
- 5–8 years of proven experience in bridge construction.
Required skills
- Civil engineering principles applied to bridge projects.
- Bridge construction techniques and methodologies.
- Construction management and site coordination.
- Quality assurance and control processes.
