Brand Manager – FMCG

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Brand Manager to lead strategic growth, performance and market positioning for a beverage FMCG brand in Lagos. The role involves developing brand strategy, consumer engagement and overseeing marketing execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term brand strategies, annual plans and marketing roadmaps across consumer and media platforms.
• Monitor brand performance, market trends, consumer insights and KPIs, providing actionable recommendations.
• Track competitor activities and deliver regular competitive and category intelligence.
• Create compelling brand campaign briefs aligned with positioning and values.
• Coordinate integrated brand campaigns and consumer engagement initiatives.
• Manage the brand’s marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.
• Maintain accurate brand and product information across databases.
• Lead new product development projects with cross‑functional teams.
• Collaborate with internal teams, agencies and stakeholders to execute brand plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive brand/marketing experience, preferably in bottling, beverage or FMCG.
• Proven track record managing brands, campaigns, budgets and consumer‑focused initiatives.
• Strong understanding of brand strategy, consumer insights, market intelligence and NPD.
• Excellent strategic thinking, project management and stakeholder management skills.
