Brand Designer

About the role

Nomba is seeking a Brand Designer to own and evolve its visual identity across all touchpoints. You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Growth teams to translate brand strategy into compelling visual experiences that build trust and differentiate the brand in the fintech market.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Nomba visual identity, including logo usage, colour, typography, iconography, illustration and photography direction.
• Design campaign creative for digital, social, out‑of‑home, print and events.
• Create marketing assets such as landing pages, email templates, pitch decks, sales collateral and merchant‑facing materials.
• Design physical brand touchpoints, including POS terminal branding, packaging, signage, merchandise and agent/merchant kits.
• Maintain and grow brand guidelines and asset library to enable on‑brand work without bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Product Design, copywriters, content and performance marketers to ensure visual consistency.
• Direct and review work from freelancers, agencies and print vendors.
• Create motion and short‑form video assets for social and paid campaigns.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in brand, graphic or visual design, either in‑house or at an agency.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating brand thinking, craft and range across digital and physical formats.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, communicate clearly and meet deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
• Comfort giving and receiving feedback and explaining design decisions.

Required skills

• Expert command of Figma.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Solid grasp of typography, layout, colour and visual hierarchy.
