Branch Manager - HMO

About the role

Noor Health is looking for a Branch Manager for its Kaduna branch. The manager oversees the branch's operations so that HMO services are delivered smoothly to enrollees and providers, acts as the main contact for members and healthcare providers in the region, develops business locally and works with the head office to meet financial and operational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Kaduna branch and ensure compliance with HMO policies, procedures and regulatory standards
• Supervise staff such as enrollment officers, claims officers and customer service teams
• Develop new business, including offering HMO membership to local employers, and expand the provider network through negotiations with hospitals, clinics and healthcare professionals in the Kano region
• Manage relationships with local healthcare providers and handle escalated member complaints
• Implement strategies to improve member retention and engagement
• Protect confidential information in line with data protection laws and report suspected breaches
• Support the Managing Director and Vice Chairman as needed and take part in departmental knowledge sharing

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in healthcare or HMO management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
• Certification in healthcare management or business administration is a plus

• Communication and relationship building with local healthcare and business communities
• Knowledge of the HMO model, insurance claims, provider networks and service delivery
