Branch Head - Automobile Industry

About the role

An experienced, commercially driven Branch Head is sought from the automobile industry to manage branch operations, sales performance, dealer relationships, team productivity and overall business growth. The role covers achieving branch targets, improving operational efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability. The job location is Nigeria.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall operations and business performance of the assigned branch.
• Develop and implement branch-level sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Lead, motivate and manage sales and operational teams, set performance objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance and take corrective action where required.
• Build strong relationships with dealers, distributors, customers and business partners, and identify new business opportunities to expand market coverage.
• Monitor stock availability, inventory movement, order fulfilment and branch-level logistics.
• Oversee payment collections, receivables, expenses and adherence to financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with head office and other departments on sales, inventory, finance and customer service matters.
• Handle customer escalations and prepare regular reports on sales, collections, expenses, inventory and branch profitability.

Required profile

• B.Tech. or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automobile industry.
• Prior experience in branch management, sales management or business operations.
• Demonstrated team handling and target-achievement experience.
• Experience in the Nigerian or broader African automobile market is needed.
