BIM Modeler – Construction & Engineering

About the role

Our client, a construction and engineering firm based in Lagos, is looking for an experienced BIM Modeler to create and manage detailed 3D models and related documentation for architectural, structural and MEP projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP projects.
• Create accurate 2D/3D drawings, construction documentation, and technical designs from project specifications.
• Coordinate models across disciplines to identify and resolve design clashes.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure BIM standards, quality requirements, and documentation procedures are consistently maintained.
• Update and manage BIM libraries, templates, and project files.
• Support project teams with model reviews, design coordination, and construction documentation.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Architecture, Engineering, Building Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in BIM modeling, CAD drafting, or construction design.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, structural detailing, and BIM workflows.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering designs.
• Excellent attention to detail, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Navisworks.
• Proficiency in Tekla Structures or similar BIM software.
