Back-end Developer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Back-end Developer to join our team and build robust banking services. You will work on Java‑based backend systems, designing APIs and ensuring secure, high‑performance transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deploy Java backend services for banking applications.
• Create and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs for internal and third‑party integrations.
• Implement business logic for customer management, accounts, loans, payments and transactions.
• Design and optimise database schemas and queries to guarantee data integrity and performance.
• Apply authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect and RBAC.
• Write unit and integration tests, support QA activities and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with DevOps to manage CI/CD pipelines and Docker/Kubernetes deployments.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong Java programming skills and experience building enterprise backend applications.
• Understanding of microservices, event‑driven architecture and API security concepts.
• Familiarity with banking or financial services environments is a plus.
