B2B Growth Marketer

About the role

Capital Placement is a dual‑sided marketplace connecting employers with early‑career talent. We are looking for a B2B Growth Marketer to build an inbound engine that brings employers ready to hire interns or graduates, allowing the sales team to focus on closing deals.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a lead‑generation plan that delivers results in the first 30 days and scales over 6‑12 months.
• Run paid‑advertising and retargeting campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, Meta and other platforms, allocating budget to the highest‑converting channels.
• Develop email nurture sequences, lead‑scoring models and automation workflows that route high‑intent leads to sales in real time.
• Design, launch and A/B test landing pages to attract the target audience.
• Optimize Capital Placement’s visibility in AI search engines through structured data and answer‑engine optimisation.
• Track the full funnel from visit to closed deal, using data to continuously improve performance.
• Collaborate with sales to define a qualified lead and refine the handoff process.
• Lay the groundwork for building a growth team within the next 6‑12 months.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who builds solutions when they don’t exist.
• 2+ years creating inbound marketing engines from scratch at a B2B startup.
• Hands‑on experience with paid ads on Google, LinkedIn and Meta, including retargeting.
• Proficiency with email marketing automation and sales‑engagement tools such as Clay, Apollo and Instantly.
• Comfortable working with data, building dashboards and making data‑driven decisions.
• Extensive use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude or similar) to automate workflows, generate copy and build landing pages.
