Assistant Relationship Manager – Commercial Banking

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Relationship Manager to support our Commercial Banking team. The role focuses on delivering proactive, value‑adding services to business clients, improving efficiency and shortening transaction processing times while providing operational backup to Relationship Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to commercial banking clients, aiming to increase efficiency and reduce transaction cycle times.
• Back‑up Relationship Managers with operational services, including account opening, maintenance and product system usage.
• Prepare credit motivations and apply lending principles in client assessments.
• Verify applications and submissions, ensuring compliance with banking standards.
• Conduct customer acceptance reviews and manage related documentation.

Required profile

• First degree in Business, Commerce or a related field; professional qualification is a plus.
• 3–4 years of experience in portfolio management for business or commercial banking clients.
• Background in branch sales or service roles.
• Experience preparing credit motivations and a solid understanding of lending principles.
