Area Phone Business Manager – Kwale, Delta State

About the role

The Area Phone Business Manager will lead Pay‑Go phone sales in Kwale, Delta State, overseeing a network of commission‑based agents. You will be responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting agents to meet sales targets while ensuring high repayment quality and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit and onboard new agents, and convert existing Sun King agents into phone‑selling partners.
• Ensure agents complete Litmos Phase 1 certification within two weeks and conduct bi‑weekly coaching sessions.
• Achieve monthly unit sales targets and monitor agent productivity, applying micro‑incentives where needed.
• Oversee portfolio quality, follow up on defaulting customers, and collaborate with Credit & Operations to reduce repossessions.
• Maintain regular field contact through visits, ride‑alongs, and coaching; track exit reasons and implement retention actions.
• Manage agent stock levels, perform monthly audits, reconcile movements, and submit accurate weekly reports.
• Guarantee compliance with Sun King policies and uphold zero‑tolerance standards for unethical practices.

Required profile

• HND or BSc in a business‑related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on field sales experience.
• Experience with PayGo, device financing, or agent‑network models (solar experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of the Kwale territory and its trade routes.
• Disciplined, data‑driven, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
