AI Testing Assistant

About the role

Alpine Business Consulting helps enterprises restore reliable financial reporting by cleaning data and reconfiguring systems. As the firm integrates AI tools into these environments, it needs a remote, part‑time AI Testing Assistant to verify that the new models produce accurate and trustworthy results.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with AI models to test responses to common financial reporting questions and document successes or failures.
• Compare AI‑generated summaries with source financial documents to ensure 100 % accuracy of figures and calculations.
• Identify and log bias or errors in how the AI interprets complex accounting rules or tax regulations.
• Help build and maintain configuration guides that describe AI setups for specific client needs.
• Update internal testing logs to track software fixes and model improvements.
• Collaborate with senior consultants on Oracle or SAP implementation scenarios.
• Assist in the final handover by verifying instructional materials are clear and technically correct.
• Review datasets for cleanliness and proper formatting before they are used to train or prompt AI tools.

Required profile

• Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn enterprise performance‑management systems.
• Cautious, skeptical approach to AI outputs; double‑check all calculations.
• Clear writing ability to describe technical bugs without jargon.
• Strong organizational habits for maintaining testing logs across multiple projects.
• Basic familiarity with spreadsheet software, especially Excel.
• Interest in finance, accounting, or business operations.
• Ability to follow detailed testing scripts while spotting anomalies.
• Reliable work ethic and ability to work independently.
