AI Labs Associate – Research, Prototyping & Content

About the role

Kokoodi is looking for an AI Labs Associate to explore emerging AI tools, build lightweight prototypes, and translate discoveries into actionable insights for product, engineering and marketing teams. This remote position is ideal for curious technologists who enjoy hands‑on experimentation over pure research papers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver proof‑of‑concept applications that validate the practical value of new AI platforms.
• Produce a concise build report for each experiment, covering demo, architecture, limitations and commercial potential.
• Continuously evaluate AI services such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and emerging MCPs.
• Run regular internal demos and show‑and‑tell sessions for engineering, product and marketing.
• Maintain a living knowledge base of prompts, workflows, tips and teardown analyses.
• Contribute marketing angles, engineering techniques and validated use‑cases derived from lab findings.

Required profile

• Technical graduate, product‑oriented professional, automation enthusiast, technical writer or AI content creator.
• Ability to spend a day testing a new AI tool and return with a working prototype and clear analysis.
• Self‑starter who can operate without strict deadlines and enjoys rapid iteration.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot or Copilot Studio.
• Familiarity with Claude, OpenAI APIs, Gemini or similar large‑language‑model platforms.
• Prototype development and basic architectural sketching.
• Documentation of technical findings and limitations.
