About the role

Join DataLens Africa as an AI Data Curator & Data Engineer. You will build clean, reliable datasets for AI and machine learning models, designing and maintaining pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and transformation. Your work will power smarter, more inclusive AI systems for Africa and beyond.

Key responsibilities

Design and maintain pipelines for data collection, cleaning, and transformation.
Work with annotation and QA teams to ensure dataset integrity.
Implement automation for dataset validation and storage.
Collaborate with AI engineers to prepare data for model training.
Contribute to improving data curation workflows and tools.

Required profile

Passionate about building clean, reliable datasets for AI.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience with Pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
Understanding of data quality, ETL, and machine‑learning pipelines.
