Product Coordinator

About the role

The Product Coordinator works with cross-functional teams so that business, quality and functional goals are met with each product release. They keep all stakeholders aligned and informed at every stage of the delivery lifecycle, work closely with Product Owners to turn business requirements into work for the engineering team, and deliver high-quality release increments on time, within budget and scope.

Key responsibilities

• Provide visibility on product vision and strategy to the engineering team.
• Work with product management and engineering leadership to plan and prioritise the feature backlog and development.
• Ensure the team always has enough prepared tasks and assess value, develop cases and prioritise stories, epics and themes.
• Manage the backlog, run iteration planning and clarify user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionality.
• Mitigate impediments affecting Release/Sprint goals and create reports on each stage of feature delivery.
• Communicate engineering productivity and feature progress to product stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Experience in home care, healthcare or medical devices preferred.
• Ability to present and explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, event-driven workplace and able to collaborate, negotiate and influence in a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Knowledge of building and implementing technology solutions or applications preferred.
• Excellent communication, planning, teamwork, critical thinking, problem-solving and emotional intelligence.
