Admissions Manager

About the role

The Admissions Manager will lead the Admissions Department of Wellington College International Lagos, overseeing the full admissions journey from first enquiry to enrolment. This senior role ensures a welcoming, efficient experience for prospective families while supporting the school’s enrolment targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end admissions process, including enquiries, applications, assessments, interviews, offers and enrolment.
• Develop and implement admissions plans, monitor progress against annual enrolment objectives and adjust strategies as needed.
• Continuously review and improve admissions procedures to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Oversee wait‑list management and maintain proactive communication with prospective families.
• Coordinate the annual re‑enrolment process and collaborate with school leaders to improve student retention.
• Build strong relationships with families, academic staff and external stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for the college.
• Maintain the admissions database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct school tours, represent the college at open days and admissions events.
• Monitor admissions KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in school admissions, enrolment management or a related field.
• Strong organisational and project‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to work collaboratively with academic and administrative teams.
• Analytical mindset for interpreting admissions data and informing decisions.
