Accounts Officer

About the role

The Accounts Officer will support the finance function across multiple locations, ensuring accurate processing of bank receipts, expense vouchers, and fixed‑asset records. This role is essential for maintaining financial integrity within the group.

Key responsibilities

• Check and process bank receipts for all locations, posting them to the correct accounts.
• Draft bank receipts for respective divisions and post daily expense vouchers.
• Review and correct errors in drafted vouchers.
• Post POS transactions for all locations.
• Maintain the Group Company Fixed Assets Register.
• Monitor the Group Company Local Staff Imprest Control and related MIS.
• Review and reconcile contractor accounts.
• Monitor daily imprest account journal voucher postings.
• Assist with month‑end accounting activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 4 years relevant accounting experience.
• Prior experience as an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Officer.
• Experience in distribution, trading, or channel‑sales environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
