About the role
The Accounts Manager will oversee the organization’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and accounting regulations. This role involves daily analysis of transactions, preparation of budgets, and collaboration with auditors to support sound financial decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and account activities across departments.
- Verify and process accounts payable and receivable.
- Investigate daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Review incoming and outgoing invoices and make payments to service providers.
- Prepare and maintain the budget and financial reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with tax and accounting laws.
- Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
Required profile
- HND/BSc in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting services.
- Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software.
