Accountant – Full-time – Mushin, Lagos

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Mushin, Lagos. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting senior management with accurate financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and account activities across departments.
• Verify and process accounts payable and receivable.
• Investigate daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Review incoming and outgoing invoices and make payments to service providers.
• Prepare and maintain budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
• Manage financial records in compliance with tax and accounting laws.
• Evaluate internal control systems and recommend improvements.
• Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Professional qualification such as ACA or ACCA is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Experience using accounting software.
