Accounts Executive

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Executive to join FactBase Consulting Limited’s finance team in Abeokuta. The role will support the company’s manufacturing operations by ensuring accurate financial records, timely receivable management, and insightful cost monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in the accounting system, ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.
• Monitor customer accounts, regularly review aging reports, and proactively follow up on outstanding receivables to support cash flow.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports, providing timely and reliable data for decision‑making.
• Track and analyze production and operational costs, identifying variances and supporting cost‑control initiatives within the manufacturing environment.

Required profile

• Minimum HND (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• At least three years of hands‑on experience in accounting functions within a manufacturing setup.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with large volumes of financial data and meet reporting deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
