Accounting Officer – Full‑time, Lagos

About the role

Zylus Group International is seeking an Accounting Officer to join its Lagos office. This full‑time, on‑site position will support the company’s diverse financial operations across its real‑estate, investment, agriculture and logistics businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Utilise accounting software and digital finance tools to record transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Analyse financial data, assist in budgeting and contribute to financial planning.
• Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with Nigerian regulations and reporting standards.
• Track financial transactions, monitor cash flow and identify discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements and reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in an on‑site team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using digital finance tools.
