Accounting & Finance Operations Intern

About the role

The Accounting & Finance Operations Intern will support daily financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, timely transaction processing, and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records, including ledgers, journals, invoices and receipts.
• Process supplier invoices, manage payments and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, preparing schedules and financial summaries.
• Assist with tax documentation, audit preparation and regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to internal accounting policies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• Completed NYSC.
• 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
