Accountant – Manufacturing/FMCG (Lagos)

About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure accurate reporting, and support day‑to‑day financial operations within a fast‑paced manufacturing and FMCG environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and update all financial records and ledgers.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Perform account reconciliations and support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
- Monitor budgets, analyse variances and provide actionable insights.
- Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to ensure compliance.
- Utilise accounting software and ERP systems to streamline processes.
Required profile
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA or ATS is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication abilities.
