Accountant (Manufacturing)

About the role

Del‑Cadizon Industrial Limited is looking for a diligent Accountant to manage the financial operations of its manufacturing business. The role involves maintaining accurate records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements within a fast‑growing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all accounting entries are accurate.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process payroll and guarantee timely salary disbursements.
• Prepare and file tax returns and statutory remittances.
• Track production costs, inventory movements and stock valuation.
• Reconcile inventory data with production and sales records.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and financial analyses for decision‑making.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ANAN or ACCA is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation and inventory accounting.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
