Accountant – Manufacturing Finance

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced accountant to lead accounting activities for its manufacturing operations in Lagos. You will supervise teams, maintain financial records, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise accounting tasks and teams for the organization.
• Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries specific to the manufacturing process.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports detailing the manufacturing department's performance and profitability.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
• Handle all tax‑related matters and compliance for the organization.
• Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for financial statements.

Required profile

• HND / BSc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as an accountant with at least 2 years as head of accounting.
• ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for cross‑department collaboration.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
