Job description

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced accountant to lead its manufacturing finance function. You will oversee all accounting activities, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic budgeting.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise accounting tasks and teams, managing accounts payable, receivable and general ledger entries specific to manufacturing.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports on manufacturing performance and profitability.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Handle tax matters, assist in audits and provide documentation for financial statements.

Required profile

  • HND or BSc in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years as head of accounting.
  • ICAN qualification is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.

Required skills

  • Cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Financial reporting and statement preparation.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Tax compliance and audit support.
