About the role
Jomav Homes is seeking a motivated Accountant to manage financial transactions, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements within the real‑estate sector.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare budget forecasts and publish timely financial statements.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments and compute taxes.
- Prepare tax returns and manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Maintain data confidentiality and perform database backups as needed.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Required profile
- B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of a Diploma.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar accounting or compliance role.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACA) is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with computer applications for accounting.
