Accountant – Full‑time, On‑site in Ibadan

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Accountant to join our client’s club and lounge business in Ibadan. The role involves managing day‑to‑day financial transactions, preparing accurate reports and supporting budget monitoring to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post all financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations to guarantee data accuracy.
• Monitor budgets, track expenditures and flag variances.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams for effective financial planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting and compliance.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or ICAN is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using ERP systems.
