Accountant – Full‑time in Lagos

About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accountant to join our finance team in Lagos. The role involves handling day‑to‑day bookkeeping, preparing financial statements and supporting payroll and tax compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process payroll and statutory remittances where applicable.
- Prepare budgets and monitor company expenses.
- Monitor cash flow and company expenses.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal financial policies.
- Use Odoo Accounting Software for bookkeeping, reporting and financial management.
Required profile
- Minimum HND/BS.c in Accounting.
- Proven experience as an Accountant (up to 12 months).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Odoo Accounting Software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
