Accountant – Full‑Time in Abuja

About the role

Zyvoltis EV Ltd is looking for a competent, detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, tax support and internal controls. The role works closely with management to provide accurate financial information that supports business decisions as the company expands.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly accounts, financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash‑flow, track inflows/outflows and payment obligations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Establish and monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Manage tax compliance, including computations, filings and documentation.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, banks and regulatory authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN or equivalent).
• Good understanding of Nigerian accounting, taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience using Zoho Books or Zoho Finance.
