Accountant – Entry Level (Full‑time)

About the role

We are seeking a diligent Accountant to join our team at Daily Laundry and Dry Cleaning Services. This entry‑level, full‑time position supports daily financial operations and ensures accurate record‑keeping for our growing business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping, post ledger entries, and record accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and verify transaction details.
• Manage petty cash, reconcile vouchers, and maintain cash logs.
• Prepare customer invoices, track outstanding balances, and process vendor payments.
• Assist with payroll data compilation, deduction calculations, and schedule preparation.
• Support the preparation and filing of statutory remittances (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension).
• Help compile trial balances, monthly management accounts, and audit documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in Accounting, Finance or related field; currently studying or writing ICAN exams.
• 1–2 years of post‑qualification accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate to the Redemption Area (Mowe / Ibafo / Redemption City / Shimawa axis, Ogun State) for daily commute.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and integrity handling confidential information.
