Accountant – Consulting Industry Experience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in the consulting industry to join our finance team in Lekki Phase 1. The role involves preparing financial reports, managing cash flow, and supporting audit activities while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare timely financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor expenditure against approved budgets.
• Process employee reimbursements and ensure timely disbursement of operational funds.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and tax requirements, including VAT filing.
• Monitor cash flow, manage invoicing, billing, and support debt recovery efforts.
• Liaise with vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Maintain organized documentation for audits and suggest process improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of accounting and administrative experience.
• B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or CPA is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, cash‑flow management, and VAT compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Etax Pro Max software.
