Account Sales Manager

About the role

The Account Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating and managing group and catering sales opportunities for our Lagos property. You will work closely with the Event Booking Center, upsell each opportunity, and ensure seamless hand‑over to operations for flawless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new group and catering business to meet personal and property revenue targets.
• Respond to inbound opportunities outside the Event Booking Center’s scope, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Generate proposals, write contracts and maintain customer correspondence throughout the sales cycle.
• Monitor same‑day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and occupancy.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to build loyalty and increase account share.
• Collaborate with event management and operational teams to ensure successful execution of booked events.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services or a related field, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor activity and economic trends.
• Proven ability to meet revenue goals and work effectively in a team environment.
