Account Sales Manager

About the role

The Account Sales Manager is responsible for proactively generating and managing group and catering sales opportunities for the property. The role focuses on up‑selling, achieving revenue targets, and delivering exceptional customer service to build loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new group and catering business to meet personal and property revenue goals.
• Respond to inbound opportunities outside the Event Booking Center’s parameters, negotiate contracts, and close sales.
• Prepare proposals, write contracts, and manage customer correspondence throughout the sales cycle.
• Monitor same‑day selling procedures to maximize room revenue and control occupancy.
• Collaborate with event management and support staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Deliver service excellence to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related fields, OR a 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor landscape, and economic trends.
• Proven ability to achieve revenue targets and manage customer relationships.
