About the role
The Leadership Initiative for Youth Empowerment is seeking an Account Officer to manage its financial records and support budgeting activities. This full‑time position is based in Lagos and focuses on ensuring accurate accounting and compliance with donor requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain financial records, bookkeeping, and accounting transactions.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and expenditure statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial accounts.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and donor requirements.
- Support financial documentation, record‑keeping, and audit preparation.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Preferred age 25–35 years, residing in Okota, Isolo, or surrounding areas.
- Female candidates are preferred.
Required skills
- Knowledge of accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
