Account Manager – Mandarin Speaking

About the role

Flutterwave is seeking a Mandarin‑speaking Account Manager to lead the management of its customer portfolio in Nigeria. You will act as the primary point of contact for assigned merchants, building long‑term, mutually beneficial relationships while ensuring the delivery of high‑quality payment services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the lead contact for all account‑management matters and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Communicate customer needs clearly, ensure timely delivery of services, and resolve complaints across all channels.
• Forecast and track key account metrics, monitor merchant fees, and manage profitability.
• Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop actionable account plans.
• Prepare and present regular reports on account status and initiative progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage projects that align customer goals with company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (strongly preferred).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service, client experience, or account management.
• Authorization to work in Nigeria without sponsorship.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin is mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and deliver under pressure.
