About the role
A school in Ketu-Ikosi, Lagos is seeking a qualified and experienced Year 6 Teacher to deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ academic development, and prepare them for examinations and the transition to secondary school.
Key responsibilities
- Teach core primary school subjects, including English and Mathematics.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, tests, and learning materials.
- Assess pupils’ progress and provide additional learning support where needed.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and organised classroom.
- Communicate pupils’ progress to parents and collaborate with school staff.
Required profile
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Education or a related field.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at the primary level.
- Strong lesson‑planning, communication, and classroom‑management skills.
- Knowledge of the primary school curriculum and assessment methods.
