About the role

Alert Microfinance Bank is seeking a full‑time Wealth Manager to work on‑site in Lagos State, Nigeria. The role focuses on advising micro‑entrepreneur clients on financial planning, investment options, and wealth‑building strategies that align with both their business and personal goals.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with micro‑entrepreneur clients to assess financial needs and design tailored financial plans.
• Recommend suitable savings, investment, and insurance solutions and monitor client portfolios.
• Conduct market and product research, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other bank teams to enhance client experience and deliver financial education.

Required profile

• Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field; professional certifications in wealth management or financial planning are a plus.
• Experience in banking, microfinance or financial advisory services, especially with small business or retail clients.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lagos, manage multiple client portfolios and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards.
