Walls/Floor Installer

About the role

The Walls/Floor Installer will join our construction team to deliver high‑quality interior finishes across residential and commercial projects in Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State area. You will be responsible for installing a variety of wall and floor finishes, ensuring they meet design specifications and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Install wallpapers, decorative wall panels, PVC, WPC panels, wall cladding and other wall finishing materials.
• Lay vinyl, SPC, laminate flooring and carpet tiles, cutting and fitting them accurately.
• Measure, cut, and fit materials according to project drawings and specifications.
• Prepare wall and floor surfaces, ensuring they are clean, level and ready for installation.
• Carry out repairs, replacements and routine maintenance of installed finishes.
• Coordinate with supervisors, interior designers and other trades on site.
• Handle tools, adhesives and equipment safely; inspect completed work for alignment and durability.
• Manage material handling, storage and reporting of shortages or damages.
• Follow health‑and‑safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE, Trade Test Certificate or vocational qualification in Carpentry, Interior Finishing, Building Technology or related field.
• At least two years of practical experience installing wall and floor finishing materials.
• Physically fit, able to lift materials and work on‑site.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
