Volunteer Digital Design & Creative Thinking Trainer

About the role

An NGO is looking for a passionate volunteer to lead hands‑on digital design and creative thinking sessions for recent secondary school graduates. The trainer will work on‑site at the University of Lagos, delivering two‑hour classes twice a week for two months.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a structured training timetable and learning plan.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions.
• Create practical exercises and projects that encourage creativity and problem‑solving.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for teenagers.
• Guide participants in developing digital design and creative thinking skills.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of digital design tools, particularly Canva and Figma.
• Understanding of design thinking principles and branding concepts.
• Experience teaching, mentoring, or facilitating learning sessions (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to connect with and inspire teenagers.
• Residence in Bariga, Somolu, Yaba, Akoka, or nearby areas to UNILAG.

What we offer
