Video Scriptwriter / Screenwriter

About the role

Etavod Video Scriptwriting Services Limited is looking for a creative Video Scriptwriter/Screenwriter to join its team in Kuola, Ibadan. You will craft engaging video scripts, screenplays and narrations for both company‑owned and client projects, turning research into compelling stories.

Key responsibilities

• Research topics thoroughly, gather reliable information and source materials.
• Write engaging scripts, screenplays, narrations and other video content.
• Review videos, audio recordings, documents and other source materials.
• Develop stories with strong structure, pacing and audience engagement.
• Rewrite and refine scripts based on feedback.
• Ensure scripts are accurate, clear, original and grammatically correct.
• Organise research materials, references and project files.

Required profile

• Minimum OND or relevant qualification in English, mass communication, journalism, creative writing, film/TV, theatre arts or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong research and information‑gathering ability.
• Previous scriptwriting/screenwriting experience is an advantage, but exceptional writing ability may compensate for lower formal education.
