Vice Principal (Admin) – School Leadership

About the role

We are looking for a Vice Principal (Admin) to support the Principal in managing the school’s administrative operations, ensuring smooth daily functioning and contributing to the success of students and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in developing and implementing school policies, procedures, and strategic plans.
• Oversee and manage administrative staff across all departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate student disciplinary procedures and attendance management.
• Manage school budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with teachers and department heads to enhance curriculum development and instructional practices.
• Facilitate professional development programs for staff and faculty.
• Ensure compliance with local and national educational regulations.
• Assist in recruitment, hiring, and evaluation of teaching and non‑teaching staff.
• Implement and oversee school safety and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in educational administration, with prior teaching or leadership roles.
• Strong leadership and management abilities to motivate and guide staff.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in educational administration software and technology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Expertise in budget management and financial planning.
• Conflict‑resolution and problem‑solving capabilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian educational policies and regulations.
• Understanding of curriculum development and assessment methods.
