Tiling Technician – Full-time

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Tiling Technician to join our construction teams across Abuja, Lagos, and Rivers. The role involves installing tiles and marble on floors and walls, ensuring high‑quality finishes and adherence to design specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and apply mortar or other adhesives.
• Install tiles according to design plans and ensure proper spacing and alignment.
• Measure, cut, and shape tiles or marble using hand and machine tools.
• Apply grout with a rubber trowel and clean excess material.
• Seal and finish surfaces as required.
• Clean and level work areas before and after installation.
• Conduct post‑installation inspections to verify quality.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.

Required profile

• SSCE/NTC/OND/HND/BSC qualification.
• 2–5 years of tiling or marble‑setting experience.
• Good knowledge of tiles, marble, and tiling designs.
• Creative approach to patterns and styles.
• Effective communication skills.

Required skills

• Operation of hand and machine cutting tools.
• Tile and marble cutting, shaping, and sizing.
• Tile layout, measurement, and alignment.
• Application of mortar, adhesives, grout, and sealants.
• Post‑installation surface cleaning and inspection.
