Terminal Manager – Operations & Customer Service

About the role

The Terminal Manager will lead daily operations at the Uyo terminal, ensuring smooth coordination of vehicle movements, passenger handling and service quality. This role combines operational oversight, staff leadership and safety compliance to meet performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day terminal operations, coordinating vehicle departures, arrivals, passenger boarding and scheduling.
• Ensure efficient utilization of terminal resources and monitor performance against targets.
• Deliver high‑quality customer service, handling passenger complaints and driving service improvements.
• Supervise and schedule terminal staff, drivers and operational personnel, managing attendance and productivity.
• Enforce safety, compliance and risk management procedures, reporting incidents promptly.
• Control revenue and administrative functions, including ticketing, collections, expense tracking and reporting.
• Liaise with operations, logistics and management teams, providing regular performance reports and supporting operational enhancements.

Required profile

• HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Transport Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum four years (48 months) of experience in transportation, logistics, terminal or fleet operations management.
• Strong knowledge of terminal and passenger operations with proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple operational demands and maintain professionalism.
• Preference for candidates residing in Uyo and, due to current operational needs, male candidates.
