Telemarketing Executive – Vendor Acquisition (3‑month contract)

About the role

Our client is a digital marketplace that connects event vendors with organizers across Nigeria. The Telemarketing Executive will acquire new vendors by contacting them, presenting the platform and guiding them through registration.

Key responsibilities

• Make at least 80 outbound calls daily to pre‑extracted event vendors.
• Introduce the Event Vendor Management System (EVMS) and explain the benefits of free listing for the first 6‑12 months.
• Guide vendors through the registration process and answer basic queries.
• Handle objections using the approved call guide and follow up with interested vendors.
• Record all call outcomes in the Daily Call Log and submit the log at the end of each workday.
• Achieve a target of 30 new vendor listings per week (approximately 120 per month).
• Participate in weekly performance review meetings.

Required profile

• Strong verbal communication in English; knowledge of Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa is a plus.
• Clear, confident and persuasive telephone manner.
• Basic proficiency with a smartphone and computer for data entry.
• Ability to follow a structured call guide while adapting naturally.
• Good listening skills and accurate record‑keeping.

Required skills

What we offer

• Contract position for 3 months with a monthly salary of NGN 110,000.
