Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition (Contract)

About the role

The Telemarketer – Vendor Acquisition will call pre‑extracted event vendors across Nigeria and persuade them to register on Elfrique’s Vendor Management System. This role supports Elfrique’s digital marketplace that links vendors with event organizers, helping vendors gain visibility and new business.

Key responsibilities

• Make a minimum of 80 outbound calls per day, introducing the Elfrique platform and explaining the benefits of listing.
• Guide interested vendors through the registration process, answering basic questions and handling objections using the approved call guide.
• Record call outcomes accurately in the Daily Call Log and submit the log to the supervisor each working day.
• Achieve at least 30 new vendor listings per week and follow up with vendors who did not complete registration.
• Maintain a professional, helpful tone on every call and escalate technical issues promptly.

• Punctual and reliable, consistently meeting attendance and reporting expectations.

Required skills

• Strong verbal communication in English; knowledge of Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa is a plus.
• Clear, confident, persuasive telephone speaking ability.
• Basic smartphone and computer literacy for using a calling app, web browser and messaging tools.
• Ability to follow a structured call guide while adapting naturally to conversation.
• Good listening skills and basic data‑entry competence.
