About the role

The Technical Sales Officer will drive new business and nurture existing customer relationships for an established Nigerian supplier of industrial raw materials. You will identify prospects, understand their technical and commercial needs, and convert opportunities into profitable sales.

Key responsibilities

Prospect and acquire new B2B customers across manufacturing sectors.
Manage and grow existing accounts through regular visits and product discussions.
Prepare quotations, follow up on opportunities, and close sales.
Identify cross‑selling opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
Gather market and competitor intelligence and maintain accurate sales records.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer service.

Required profile

Minimum OND qualification.
At least 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in industrial or technical sales.
Strong B2B sales, negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
Commercially driven with a proactive approach to prospecting.
