Technical Sales Engineer – Waste Management & Tank Cleaning

About the role

The Technical Sales Engineer will be based in Port Harcourt and will focus on waste management and tank‑cleaning solutions for the oil and gas sector. You will identify new business opportunities, prepare technical proposals and deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements while supporting the company’s eco‑friendly product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities related to waste management and tank cleaning.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and value‑based presentations to clients.
• Conduct site visits, gather technical requirements and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sale technical support, including product demonstrations and training.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and procurement teams to ensure accurate product selection and service delivery.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Track sales performance, prepare reports and contribute to market intelligence and business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical sales or sales engineering within the oil and gas industry, preferably in waste management or tank‑cleaning services.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical features into clear business value.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client presentations and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Harcourt and travel to client locations as required.
