Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a driven Technical Sales Engineer to join Flowitec Group Ghana Limited in Lagos. The role focuses on expanding market presence for engineering products such as pumps and valves, generating sales opportunities, and managing client relationships across key industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Research target markets and cultivate lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable engineering solutions.
• Promote pumps and valves through presentations and client engagements.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, bids and technical presentations, supporting the sales process.
• Negotiate commercial terms, manage sales territories, conduct client visits and close deals.
• Monitor market trends, maintain accurate sales records and provide customer feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a sales engineer.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering products, especially pumps and valves.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pumps and valves.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
