About the role

Virgo Energy Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join its Port Harcourt team. The role focuses on waste management and tank cleaning solutions for the oil and gas sector, combining technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue sales opportunities related to waste management and tank cleaning.
• Prepare and present technical proposals and tailored solutions to clients.
• Conduct site visits, gather technical requirements, and coordinate with engineering and operations teams.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sale technical support, product demonstrations, and training.
• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Prepare reports, track sales performance, and contribute to market intelligence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum or related engineering discipline.
• Significant experience (≈10 years) in technical sales within the oil and gas industry, especially waste management or tank cleaning.
• Strong communication skills for client presentations and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Port Harcourt and travel to client locations.
